Skatetime PE Unit - Permission Slips & Payment due by February 28

Beginning on February 28 - March 13, 2025, our PE classes will be participating in an in-house skating program.  The skates will be delivered directly to the school.  Due to insurance purposes, we will be exclusively using Skatetime's skates. The fee for this unit will be $13 per student which can be paid online through Campus Parent Portal or by sending exact cash in an envelope labeled with "Skatetime," your student's first and last name and their PE teacher's name (checks are not accepted and we are not able to provide change).

Your student will be bringing home a permission slip which you need to sign off on and have your student return to their PE teacher.  Please also have your student watch for a questionnaire to complete in their PE Course in Schoology regarding information on shoe size. If your student misplaces their permission slip, you can access a copy here: Skatetime Permission Slip.

RMS Band & Choir Concerts

Thank you to all of our RMS band and choir students for doing such a great job at the December concerts!  We also want to extend a big thank you to Mr. Parr, Mr. Rauen, Mr. Saxton and Mr. Rosner for all of their efforts!  We know everyone involved spent countless hours practicing and rehearsing; everything sounded wonderful and everyone did a fantastic job representing RMS! We are looking forward to the spring concerts!

Winter Coat Drive Update

Congratulations to the Rogers Police Department for collecting 255 coats and placing third among all participating police departments in the winter coat drive collection!  In total over 3,000 coats were collected by area law enforcement agencies and given to the Salvation Army Harbor Light Center to help those in need.  Since this program began, over 22,000 coats have been donated!

Minnesota Twins legends Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau, and pitcher Louie Varland, attended the event, showing their strong support for the coat drive. They took a moment to express their gratitude to the city of Rogers and the community for their generosity.

Food Drive Update

A big thank you to everyone at RMS who donated items for our food drive in November!  With your support and generosity, we donated 1,819 pounds of food to CROSS!

Cardboard Gingerbread House Winners

The Media Center hosted a Cardboard Gingerbread Contest in December. Students in grades 6-8 were able to sign up to work on their creations during Royal Time for several weeks and students in all grades could participate by building at home. Congratulations to the following students for winning the Media Center's Cardboard Gingerbread House Contest!
